    Just do a net search and you will find plenty of recipes for non-food item like play dough. But there are variations and these are the ones I have tried and tested. I write them down here for my own easy reference as well.

  • One Dish Meals  ( 1 item )

    One-dish meals are essential, time-saving meals for busy mothers. Some one-dish meals are common enough that almost everyone will know how to cook them : e.g. fried rice, pasta. The only problem is that sometimes we run out of ideas for variations. Here are some one-dish meals that are common to our dinner table.

    Here are a few Chinese recipes that are supposed to boost breastmilk production. Some are taken from a recipe book, "The Chinese Pregnancy & Confinement Cookbook" by Ng Siong Mui. I do not know whether they really work. Their effectiveness may vary from person to person.

  • Recipes for Babies  ( 10 items )

    Some of the things I cooked for Dominic, starting with the most basic. Some of them are my own (or from my mom). Some I learned from people who were kind enough to share with me. Yet others are modification of other people's recipes.

    I am an advocate of delaying the introduction of solids until 6 months of age. This is in line with the American Academy of Pediatrics' (AAP) recommendation. Hence, my food for 'beginner' may be suitable for 6 months old babies but may not be suitable for younger babies. However, every baby's development is different so again, you have to use your own discretion.
