Purpose : Baby Full Month Favour/Birth Announcement One Joy baby full month favour is quite different from the conventional full month favours. Instead of the usual cake, glutinous rice, red eggs and ang ku keuh set, One Joy's favour is a box of various confectionary and a baby announcement card. Some of the items are also personalised with your baby's name. I came across One Joy through a brochure that I received in my hospital baby gift bag, and was quite charmed by this unique full month favour. I ordered some for Darren's full month in place of the usual cake voucher, which most people are already sick of and some people don't even bother to redeem (which means a waste of money). We still had the usual cake/glutinious rice/egg set which were given to closer friends and families because some people are still traditional and expect such traditional favours. Likes : I like its uniqueness compared to the usual cake/glutinous rice routine or the boring cake vouchers. The packaging is really lovely and the personalisation a real plus. When the content has been consumed, the box makes a really nice storage box. I use mine as a time capsule to keep Darren's baby keepsakes. The consumables are not immediate perishables, unlike cakes and eggs. So you actually have more lead time to do all the delivery. The cake/glutinous rice sets, on the other hand, must be delivered on the same day and must be kept in the fridge.
