I wonder if you remember this case : some years back, a mother was breastfeeding her baby at one of the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaves outlet and she was stopped by the staff, who told her that she was not supposed to breastfeeding in public.  That incident created quite a hoo-hah.

Well, to set the record straight, it is not an offence in Singapore to breastfeed in public.

Below is a list of places offering breastfeeding facilities for nursing mothers who prefer to breastfeed in private.  If you know of some other places not listed here, or should you find the nursing rooms are no longer located at the locations stated here, do email me to let me know so I can update this list.

The list is compiled through contributions from other mothers.  These mothers emailed me when they went somewhere and found a new nursing room not listed here.  If you wish to use this list on your site, please ask me first.  If you want to contribute this list to another site that is not yours, you also have to ask me first.  And when you do use this list on your sites, have the decency to state that the list is taken from Parenting Joy (with a link back to this site) and is the fruit of many mothers' contribution.  It is bad enough if you do not give credit where it is due.  It is ugly if you claim that the list is compiled by you.  

Lastly, if you are contributing to this list, please do not take another list to contribute here without asking the owner's permission.  I won't know where your contribution comes from so I am depending on you to seek clearance first.
