If I made flashcards, it is likely there are could be more stuff, especially when I am teaching my own kid. 🙂

So here it comes : Hanyu Pinyin Game! It’s a lot to print but then there are so many phonograms! Just like the Chinese Number Match and Chinese Colour Match games, you either use fancy/no-frill clothes pegs to peg at the right answers, or just use dry erase markers to circle the right answer.

It is not as easy as it looks because it requires the child to be very familiar with the sounds of all the phonograms. The child must also be drilled enough to be able to split the sound of a characters in order to get the answer. But it is a good exercise and more fun that worksheets.

Wow! You are so talented. I am a mom of a bilingual child and a teacher. I love your website, the resources you have created and the ideas you are sharing shows how much you care and how much effort you have put into it. I also have a website that I started a few years ago http://www.mandarinforme.com to share free resources for learning Chinese with others. I have linked your website from mine. Thank you again for sharing! Feel free to give me suggestions or comments. 🙂
